Facilities at Burley Villa School of Riding
Situated a 5 minute walk from the open new forest and with a NEW direct forest access, Burley Villa is home to a wealth of facilities:
– 20 x 60 indoor arena, with an open plan viewing area (available to hire)
– 25 x 55 outdoor arena, with a sliding surface (available to hire)
In addition to this, liveries can also make use of a six-partition, covered horse walker; a sand round pen; private livery yard, tack room and wash bays; as well as a livery team room and members’ club room.

Livery Services
Burley-Villa offers multiple livery options across their two sites: Burley-Villa school of riding and Valesmoor – both sites are linked.
Options available include:
Gold Livery Service – £750 per month
Includes the following:
- Private livery yard and wash bays
- Livery room for holding tack and equipment
- Livery tea room
- Horses stabled at night during the Winter, and live out at night during the Summer, although some horses need to be stabled at night all year round
- Horses are mucked out (shavings bed), hayed and fed (pony nuts only). Owner is required to supply any other feeds / supplements
- Horses will have daily turnout once stabled at night, unless the conditions are not suitable in which case they will be exercised by staff, to include: horse walker, round pen, lunging or ridden work
- Grooming, turn out and catch in along with rug adjustments / changes
- Use of indoor and outdoor arena plus round pen, subject to school lesson times which have priority
- Farrier and Vet visits will be attended to by a member of staff. Any worming will be administered according to the yard worming schedule, with the cost added to livery bills
- Tack cleaned weekly
- Professional advice and support is available upon request
Extras:
- Schooling session; ridden or lunged – £40
- Shavings per bale – £12
- Wormers – £20
- Trailor storage – £15 per month
- Clipping – POA
- Full training – £300 per week or £1100 per the month.
Silver Livery Service – £600 per month
Includes the following:
- Private livery yard and wash bays
- Livery room for holding tack and equipment
- Livery tea room
- Horses stabled at night during the Winter and live out at night during the Summer, although some horses need to be stabled at night all year round
- Horses are mucked out (shavings bed), hayed and fed (pony nuts only). Owner is required to supply any other feeds / supplements. This livery includes up to 2 bales of shavings per week, extra shaving bales will be added to livery bill at our discretion
- Horses will have daily turnout, unless the conditions are not suitable, in which case they will be put on the horse walker
- Turnout and catch in with rug adjustments / changes
- Use of indoor and outdoor arena plus round pen, subject to school lesson times which have priority
- Farrier and Vet visits will be attended by a member of staff. Any worming will be administered according to the yard worming schedule, with the cost added to livery bills

For gold and silver liveries; the yard opens at 8.30am, not before unless in exceptional circumstances and by prior arrangement with the office. The yard is closed on a Tuesday when all horses have a rest day.
Should gold and silver liveries wish their horse to have a break, we can arrange this in one of our turn away fields with a reduction in livery costs. Minimum of 2 weeks. Please contact the office for details.
Bronze Livery – DIY at BV Valesmoor – £250 per month
